At Garage Gang, we typically work with artists, poets, philosophers, musicians, visionaries, and thinkers on the edge of the known to create long-term solutions for communities moving from mainstream to transformation. The urgency of the war put all long term strategies aside for a time when the war is over, but as a team of community development specialists we are making a consistent effort to shape the models that will set the patterns for the development of society in the post-war period, and now we need the help of friends and partners.

Our organisation has been implementing social innovations for more than 10 years in Ukraine, we developed the culture of philanthropy with crowdfunding platform BIG IDEA (biggggidea.com) and implemented a model for community creative potential growth City Code (https://bit.ly/3onJsUs) for small cities. Our organisation is an important part of the knowmads network of social leaders that create opportunities and solutions to facilitate growth and development of democratic society in Ukraine. It means we make our next activities based on what we learned in our previous cycle and it adds a strong nomadic characteristic to the activities of our organisation and the number of those knowledge-based organisations that are in the network. There are also more classic players in the UA philanthropy and civil society ecosystem and we have managed to have productive cross-sector cooperations and partnerships with them with benefits for different groups of citizens for couples of years already.
