Who we are?
From the first day of it's existence, the goal of hromadske was to impartially tell about the events, facts, and people to Ukrainian and international audiences. We started our activity as a social initiative of Ukrainian journalists in 2013. Now, hromadske is undergoing a major transformation and transition from a bold startup to a full-fledged multimedia community. The work of hromadske is aimed at creating a non-toxic information environment. We believe it will contribute to the development of a sustainable society.

The Ukrainian media landscape is now monopolized by commercial channels owned by the oligarchs. hromadske is an attempt to change the media market. We believe that we can influence the disappointing situation in the information space. But we need your help.

What we are doing?
hromadske is a multimedia media platform with a team of more than 150 people. The headquarters is located in Kyiv. 

In order to provide our audience with quality content, over the past year we have:

• Spent 250 hours in the courts
• Driven 40,000 km in Kyiv
• Filmed 2,200 hours of footage
• 1,450 requests were made to state agencies
• 300,000 calls were made
• 300 interviews were taken
• More than 500 stories were released
• visited more than 80 cities in Ukraine, some of them several times, and 16 cities outside Ukraine.

During the year we are going to raise 3,600,000 UAH. What will we spend this money on?
We are journalists, and video is one of the most powerful journalistic tools. Our equipment is aging and we need to upgrade it. Each of you can help us tell the most important news faster. Continue to protect your information space from myths and fakes. Make new projects about ecology, gender equality, inclusion, lifestyle, culture and important topics that other media outlets are silent on. Pay more attention to the lives and problems of the regions. To tell the stories of people who are changing the country right now and inspiring by example.

Even the smallest contribution matters. We will report on each hryvnia we spend.

How to make a donation and help us? We explain you step by step:
1) On the hromadske project page on Spilokosht click on the button on the right "Фондувати", it is indicated with a red arrow.

2) A window with the donation placement will open. You need to enter the payment amount and its regularity, enter your email and password, and choose a gift. Translation is in red.
