Dear Ukrainians all over the world and everybody who cares about education in Ukraine!

In April, 2016 we are conducting the Second National (Un)conference for School Teachers EdCamp Ukraine, www.edcamp.org.ua – an unforgettable event to exchange experiences, knowledge, ideas, contacts between creative and extraordinary teachers who seek a better quality of knowledge for our children and become agents of change in the national education.

We know that today in Ukraine it is not easy for school teachers to find opportunities (both content and financial) for high-quality professional development and self-training. Without that, we hope you will agree, children can hardly expect a Teacher who does not only work at school, but also keeps up with the times; can prepare a child for life and help understand his/her mission; will know and use the best practices; be respected and trusted by both children and their parents.

We want to support teachers by creating and developing innovative and democratic platform of self-education and training with the assistance of the best international and Ukrainian experts not only from the sphere of secondary education but also from related industries which can help to change the situation.

What have we already done? 23^rd and 24^th June, 2015, the First National (Un)conference for School Teachers EdCamp Ukraine 2015 was held. There were more than 300 participants from 20 regions, 57 experts from 7 countries, 5 thematic areas covering current trends, 82 unique session in 10 modern formats that were held through 8 streams simultaneously in 11 locations!

What are we planning to do this time? 8^th and 9^th April, 2016 in Kharkiv we are planning to hold the Second National (Un)conference for School Teachers EdCamp Ukraine with the following innovative components:

• Translation and adaptation of one of the professional courses from the world famous Coursera platform offered to the community of responsible teaching.
• Presentation of the results of 11 regional mini-EdCamps.
• Presentation of open lessons using the "Aquarium" method.
• One of the joint sessions will be devoted to the issues of non-discrimination and gender equality in education, involving the best national and international experience.
• One day will include interactive work in such museums as: the only Eastern Europian Museum of Women and Gender History, Museum of Religions, Literary Museum, Holocaust Museum, Museum of Sexual Cultures, Chornobyl’ Art Studio, as well as "open air exhibition" of Kharkiv artist Hamlet`s murals.
• Organization of Music Camp under mentoring of incredible Constance Fortunato in connection with and within the EdCamp Ukraine.
• And many others.

We are also expecting about 500 people from more countries, more experts, more stakeholders for education, themes and ideas!
